Edina Resident Concerns

The City's financial workings and decision-making processes are not transparent to Edina residents.

I hear concerns about a growing City staff, consistent pay raises for personnel, travel, and imprecise budget items.

Decisions involving development, including Tax Increment Financing (TIF) have long-term effects on Edina's tax base.

Edina's public services, including ambulance, fire, and police cannot keep pace with population growth. In many situations, our existing infrastructure cannot support the demands created from increased population and development.

I will study Edina's needs and consider the infrastructure and services when making development decisions.
